Decide on a couple of dates & times. |

a plan B, in case of bad weather. |

Enquire with local authorities or venues if there are any fees or
restrictions for use. I can help you with the necessary phone
numbers or who to contact. |

Decide on the Type of Ceremony you want whether it will be
traditional, religious, cultural, spiritual, themed, personal,
intimate, formal, informal, serious, fun or exhilarating. |

Arrange a get to know each other meeting either at my house, or your
special place or venue. |
If you are happy to proceed we can fill out your Notice of Intended
Marriage Form which must be completed at least one month & one day before
your ceremony date & not more than 18months prior to your ceremony date.
You will need to bring your Original Birth Certificates along with any
other relevant documentation. This will be discussed on my first contact
with you.
There is a lot to take in & think about, so I am happy to go at your own
pace. If you are happy to book me as your celebrant I will take a booking
fee at this stage, the rest of the account is payable 21 days before the
ceremony date.
Now for the fun part…Designing your ceremony…you can use poetry, verses,
affirmations, blessings, music, special vows, special people, cultural
customs, rituals, etc.
It’s your Special Moment so let your Imagination go…
Try my special ritual on my home page to help you clear your mind & get
you to your special place. Just close your eyes… ask your partner or
friend to recite the ritual to you & jot down any thoughts. Try to keep
focused on what you both want. Remember it’s Your Day.
I have a collection of poems/books/ideas for you to browse through. We
will work together to organise the order of your ceremony so it will flow
smoothly. Like any successful journey you will need a Beginning,
Highlights & A Happy Ending.
A week or so before the ceremony we will have a rehearsal, preferably at
your special place so try to get together your bridal party & wedding
co-ordinator (or friend who can help out).
On your Special Day I will arrive 30 minutes early, along with your
wedding co-ordinator to discuss any last minute details & check the
location is all ok.
Within 14 days of your ceremony I will send all your legal documentation
to the Births, Deaths & Marriages Dept. Thereafter you will be able to
apply to the B.D.M. Dept. for your registered copy of your Marriage
Certificate. Or I have a new facility to apply for an on-line application
form which can be sent off with your application fee when I send off all
your other legal documents meaning you do not have to wait the two weeks.
The application fee is payable to the B.D.M either way.

Other Celebrations
There are so many more of Life’s Celebrations such as renewal of vows,
commitment ceremonies, namings, special birthdays, graduation,
congratulations etc.
Together, we can tailor a Unique Ceremony to remember these special
moments as well, through out life.
