I have been married since 1992 to a Englishman I met whilst living in the UK, following travels through Africa & Europe. We got married in Australia my country of birth, at Manly Dam Reserve – Sydney. Our Special Place was in the Aussie bush land under an old gnarled Banksia tree beside a lake. The ceremony was very special to us because of our mutual affinity with the outdoors. Several white cockatoos flew over head announcing to the world in their loud cackling screeches Our Celebration, much to the delight of our overseas visitors.  It was a beautiful spring day - a Friday afternoon, so we had the whole place to ourselves and loved ones. We had arranged for caterers to come to this unique spot and cook up a sumptuous feast of seafood on the BBQ’s there. Later, when the sun was about to set we escaped with our photographer to the nearby beach of Collaroy, for a fun and quiet moment to reflect on our wonderful day, before rejoining our party to celebrate on into the night.  This Special day has remained with me & inspired me to become a Celebrant, to help make your day unique. We have 2 beautiful children – Samantha & Luke both nearly teenagers.  I love meeting people from all walks of life. Hearing their stories, where they come from, where they have been, where they want to go. About their way of life, their customs & beliefs. I believe we are all different & that’s what makes us Individual, Special & Interesting, so your ceremonies should reflect your own Special Values, Personalities & Ideas.
